Programs

Level 1—must be at least 5 years old and successfully complete Aqua Kids exit skills to qualify
Skills covered: refining skills covered in Aqua Kids; water safety topics; independence in water; treading actions.
Show consistent progress of skills learned in previous level and following exit skills:
1. Jump into water, travel at least 5 yards, bob 5 times fully submerging head then exit water.
2. Glide on front at least 2 body lengths, roll to a back float for 5 seconds then recover to vertical position.

This is an accelerated course. Class times will be shorter, there will only be 6 meeting days and class numbers will be smaller. In the event of inclement weather, lessons will be relocated to the Watertown Indoor Pool.
